Haha ok so considering my last journal entry was from October last year celebrating my 1000 pageviews i thought I better post something fresh.
I have just hit the 5000 pageview mark so i guess thats something to be happy about, I'm hoping that number increases a lot quicker than it has done in the past.
But a quick thanks to anyone who watches me or just favourited or commented some of my work, it all means a lot to me and encourages me to keep going so thank you very much.
I've been branching out lately trying a whole lot of new things, in particular digital paintings.
I'm really enjoying doing them atm just because you can put in soo much detail and i personally feel a much greater sense of accomplishment when I finish one of them as well.
I know I dont post new deviations as often as i used to, but i'm still drawing a lot in my sketchpad and all over the place, I just havent thought any of it particuarly worthy of going up.
I really want to get into background art, just painting landscapes and surreal stuff because I find them amazing to look at and would love to be able to do them myself, so yeah just practising them atm, mixing it up every now and then with some character work and even the occasional portrait, atm I'm doing one of Emma Watson, hoping it turns out alright.
And I've also romised my mates that I'd do a Halo painting just because they are all huge fans of the game so that may be something to look out for in the future...if it all goes according to plan.
Hmm so i guess that's all I really have to say right now, so thanks again to everyone and if anyone has any suggestions on how I could improve, maybe something they would like to see from me, feel free to let me know and I'll see what I can do.
